Getting here

Please note that the museum does not offer any public car parking. Northampton town centre has plenty of available public car parks provided by Northampton Borough Council. Mayorhold Shoppers’ Multi-Storey (NN1 3AH) and the Grosvenor Centre Multi-Storey (NN1 2BS) are the closest car parks to the museum. St. John’s Multi-Storey (NN1 1HA) and St. Michael’s Multi-Storey (NN1 3HR) are a 10 minute walk away through the town centre.

Northampton Town is a central hub for public transportation, and most bus services will stop either on The Drapery or at the North Gate Bus Station. The museum is just a short walk away, across the Market Square.

Northampton Train Station is a 10 minute walk from the town centre, with direct rail links to London, Birmingham and Liverpool as well as other cross-country services. From the main exit of the train station, walk straight ahead, passing the Sol Central leisure complex on your left, and head directly up Gold Street. If you continue, you will reach the Market Square on your left.
